DevOps Engineer - AWS, Automation & AI
£650 Per Day Inside IR35 | 6-Month Contract | London | Hybrid (3 Days Per Week Onsite)
Your new role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a mid to senior-level DevOps Engineer to join a new AI-focused technology programme. Working within a highly technical engineering environment, you'll help drive automation initiatives, develop CI/CD pipelines, and support infrastructure across AWS, private cloud and on-premise environments. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and platform engineering projects within a global organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer within a large-scale enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline development
- Python scripting and automation expertise
- Experience supporting AWS, private cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Datadog monitoring and observability experience
- Understanding of AI fundamentals with exposure to Copilot or similar AI technologies
- Experience working alongside development teams using Java and C++
- Oracle experience would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
