Job Description
DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure)
Central Government (BPSS eligible)
Hybrid/Remote - Newcastle
6 months initially
£612 per day Inside IR35
Our Central Government client requires a strong DevOps engineer for a 6 month initial contract on a new public programme. You will be responsible for all aspects of deployment and environments management to CI/CD pipelines and will be closely involved with integrations across platform and other product teams.
At This Role Level, You Will
- Transform technical requirements into an effective DevOps toolchain to enable product delivery
- Work to the technical standards of the broader engineering function
- Ensure that deployment strategies for products are repeatable, scalable and highly available
- Have deep technical knowledge, providing support to delivery teams and solving complex problems

It is essential to have experience of the following technologies:
- AWS / Azure
- CI / CD (Ideally GitLab)
- Containerisation (Docker)
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- IaC (Terraform)
- Scripting Languages (Such as Python, Bash, Shell etc)
- Monitoring and Observability (Kibana / Grafana / Prometheus)

£600.00 - £612.00 / hr
