Not every infrastructure role is created equal. Most are about keeping the lights on. This one is about engineering the foundations on which billions of dollars in investment and trading decisions depend every single day.
We're looking for an exceptional mid-to-senior engineer to join a world-class team building the next generation of cloud infrastructure for a globally renowned investment firm. If you want to work on systems where reliability, performance and architectural decisions have direct commercial impact, this is it.
This is engineering, not operations. You will not be ticket-driven or relegated to reactive support. You will architect cloud platforms, design resilience strategies, solve problems that would challenge most engineers, and directly influence how hundreds of talented software engineers build and deploy mission-critical systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
