What you will really be doing

- Improve developer tooling, automation and internal platforms, with clear documentation and maintainable code that helps teams work efficiently.
- Strengthen reliability through monitoring and observability, helping teams detect and resolve issues early.
- Apply security and compliance practices throughout infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Create clear documentation and maintainable, production-ready code.

How you will be doing this
- You'll collaborate openly with teammates and stakeholders, communicate clearly, and contribute positively to team dynamics.

- A big part of your role is learning, improving, and automating. You’ll investigate problems, debug effectively, participate in code reviews, and ask for help before getting stuck in unnecessary rabbit holes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our team is building an Internal Development Platform that helps Aize teams get started and stay productive, with the freedom to create and manage the resources their services need.
An MVP is already used by most of our development teams, and we’re now making it easier to use, more flexible and more automated, with clearer documentation and plug-and-play components such as Terraform modules. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll help develop and operate the platform while building your experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, observability, and DevSecOps practices.
Who we think you are
You are humble, open, collaborative, and constructive in how you work with others.
You have experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, software development, or a related field, with a solid understanding of networking, containers, security, infrastructure as code and observability.
You’ve worked hands-on with cloud platforms, ideally Azure, and tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, AKS and Terraform.
You’re comfortable with Python or Bash, Linux, Git, CI/CD and GitOps.
You write clear, maintainable code and infrastructure, understand automated testing, and can contribute to unit and integration tests.
You take ownership, break work into manageable tasks, set priorities, and communicate progress or challenges early.
You’re comfortable debugging, taking part in code reviews and giving constructive feedback.
You’re collaborative and open to learning, understand how your team contributes to Aize’s goals, and take responsibility for your continued development.
