DevOps Engineer Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join an innovative technology organisation delivering complex software solutions for customers across a specialist technical environment.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support cloud and on-premises infrastructure, deployment processes, and automation solutions across the organisation. This full-time role offers a salary of GBP 60,000 and benefits.

Note: Valid DV clearance is essential for this role.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Building, managing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions.
  • Managing and optimising Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Automating deployment and operational activities.
  • Supporting containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working with development teams to improve software release processes.
  • Maintaining security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Investigating and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Creating and maintaining operational documentation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previously worked as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Valid DV clearance.
  • Approx 3+ years commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong background working with CI/CD platforms and in Linux administration.
  • Familiarity in using Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Good understanding of networking and security principles.
  • Strong knowledge of Git.
