Job title: DevOps Engineer

Client: FinTech

Salary: £85,000-£95,000 + Bonus

Location: London

The role:

My client, an expanding FinTech organisation, are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their growing team.

This role requires you to work 2 days a week in the office in central London.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and automating on-prem Linux Infrastructure
  • Utilising tools such as Terraform for IaC
  • Working on various containerised environments such as Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Contributing to automation via Python and Ansible
  • Working on GitOps workflows
  • Participating in architectural discussions and adding value
  • Supporting various teams with build, CI/CD and devtooling
  • Working with large scale Linux systems – including deployments, configuration management, and containers

Skills required:

  • Solid all round Linux experience, comfortable on the command line
  • Scripting via both Bash and Python
  • Terraform / Ansible
  • Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls
  • Some container exposure – Kubernetes or Docker
  • Exposure around Databases and Observability is highly desirable
  • Previous experience working within FinTech / Financial Services is highly desirable
