Remote-first, and the Azure DevOps environment is yours to own.
You would be joining an infrastructure engineering team that has just added six new heads as part of a wider technology transformation, in a DevOps seat where the pipelines, the Terraform modules and the platform standards are yours to shape rather than inherit.
What you get
- £55,000 with an 18% combined pension (you put in 8%, they put in 10%)
- Remote first. The team is spread across the country, gets together occasionally, and any travel is expensed
- Ownership of the Azure DevOps environment: projects, pipelines, repos and access control
- Project and architecture work first, with limited day-to-day operational support
- A blue light discount card, dental and healthcare discounts, and the option to buy and sell holiday

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
