GCP DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The engineer will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure, enabling CI/CD pipelines, supporting Kubernetes platforms, and driving DevSecOps best practices.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GCP Services, Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation, Monitoring, Security, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Platform Engineering
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Provision and manage resources using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Configure and maintain:
- GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
- Compute Engine
- Cloud Storage
- Cloud Load Balancers
- VPC Networks
- Cloud DNS
- Cloud SQL
- IAM & Service Accounts
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.

Kubernetes & Containerization
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on GKE.
- Create and maintain Helm Charts.
- Implement:
- Auto-scaling
- Node pool management
- Rolling deployments
- Blue-Green deployments
- Canary deployments
- Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and application issues.
CI/CD & Release Automation
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines using:
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins
- GitLab CI
- Cloud Build
- Harness
- Implement automated:
- Build
- Test
- Security Scanning
- Deployments
- Rollback strategies
- Drive deployment standardization and release governance.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop reusable Terraform modules.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Maintain environment consistency across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production.
Monitoring & Observability
- Configure monitoring using:
- Cloud Monitoring
- Cloud Logging
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- Dynatrace
- Splunk
- Establish dashboards, alerts, and SLAs/SLOs.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents.
