DevOps Engineer & Senior DevOps Engineer (Contract) | Remote

We are supporting a global organisation undergoing a significant cloud, platform and automation transformation, and are looking to appoint an experienced DevOps Engineers on a contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity, working within a modern engineering function responsible for building and operating secure, scalable, cloud-native platforms across a complex international environment.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the heart of a cloud and platform engineering team, taking ownership of the CI/CD ecosystem that underpins application delivery, infrastructure provisioning and platform governance. You will play a pivotal role in driving infrastructure as code, automation, deployment standards and security controls, ensuring engineering teams can deliver quickly, consistently and securely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and related tooling.
  • Support and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms and containerised workloads.
  • Build reusable automation frameworks and GitHub Actions workflows.
  • Implement security, compliance and policy controls across engineering pipelines.

Key Experience

  • Proven commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong expertise with Cloud (two of Azure, AWS, GCP), Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
  • Experience implementing security and quality controls within engineering pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, automation and cloud governance.
