I’m currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to join a global payments organisation within its central Platform Engineering team.

This is a genuine hands-on DevOps opportunity, with responsibility for supporting and developing enterprise-scale GitHub and CI/CD platforms used across the organisation. The role offers significant technical ownership and the opportunity to work across a modern cloud and automation environment.

Key technologies:

  • AWS / EKS
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
  • GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions
  • CI/CD
  • Linux
  • Python / Bash / Go
  • Platform automation

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong hands-on DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
  • Solid AWS and Terraform experience
  • Good working knowledge of Kubernetes / EKS
  • Experience designing, operating or supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong Linux and infrastructure troubleshooting fundamentals
  • Experience working with GitHub, ideally at enterprise scale
  • A track record of taking genuine ownership of technical projects
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and senior stakeholders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You do not need to have experience across every technology listed. The hiring team is particularly interested in strong engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability and genuine hands-on experience, rather than simply having a long list of technologies on your CV.
