Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid – 50% Office / 50% Remote)
Salary: Circa £70,000 to £90,000 + 10% bonus
The Opportunity
Are you a technically versatile problem-solver, passionate about cloud infrastructure and automation? We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an enterprise scale cloud services provider in Cardiff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior / lead engineer to deepen their expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerisation. You will also lead and mentor more junior engineers within a collaborative culture that prioritizes innovation—including early-stage projects in Generative AI.

What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience managing public cloud services across Azure or AWS at enterprise scale
- Terraform and IAC experience for infrastructure provisioning
- Experience leading and mentoring junior DevOps Engineers
- Technical leadership / responsibility for delivery
- Broad experience across Cloud, Infrastructure, Development, Delivery
- GitLab for CI/CD workflows.
- Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of cloud networking, DNS, and secure VPN configurations.
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance - 5 years in the UK, no criminal record etc
- Growth Mindset: A desire to stay at the forefront of cloud tech, including Serverless (Functions/Logic Apps) and AI.
