DevOps Engineer (Python / Infrastructure Automation) – Trading Firm – London – £140,000 + generous bonus
I'm working with a London-based trading firm that's investing in automating its infrastructure, and they're hiring a Python-strong DevOps engineer to lead that work.
About the Company
- Established, technology-driven trading business
- Small, collaborative engineering team
- Real appetite to modernise how infrastructure is built and run
This role is weighted towards engineering rather than operations. You'll sit within the infrastructure team and focus on replacing manual work with reliable, repeatable automation.

Responsibilities
- Owning and developing internal infrastructure tooling
- Driving infrastructure-as-code across the estate
- Automating deployment, patching and configuration
- Improving observability and reliability
Requirements
- Strong, current professional Python
- Deep hands-on Linux knowledge
- A track record of automating infrastructure at scale
- Solid networking and security fundamentals
- Clear views on how modern infrastructure should be built
