In Digital Customer Experience we specialize in navigating our clients through the complexities of large-scale, technology-driven transformation programs, using our skills to drive outstanding delivery. Having the right people using the right methodology and following the right process gives every client the right result.
The Platform Engineering capability within Digital is a growing team of people dedicated to ensuring that the technologies selected and the way that they are implemented meet the business objectives of our clients. There are several disciplines within the Digital Customer Experience team: delivery, business, integration and digital architects and technical managers, and many of our people can perform in more than one of these roles.
Your role
- Be the Lead on multiple delivery projects while work on day-to-day BAU and support tasks. Proactively create and deliver infrastructure as code to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our internal or customer-facing services
- Lead Troubleshooting and problem solving. Help with capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.
- Take the lead contributing and creating new designs, architectures and standards for new projects or solutions to improve current infrastructure.
- Contribute to the stability and security of the environment
- Define process and best practices for reliable and timely delivery and communicate work status regularly with a clear articulation of design choices along the way.
- 24 x 7 on-call support.

Nice to have
- Databases - (SQL/NoSQL) Cassandra knowledge would be great to have
- Scripting/ System-Programming - (Python/Bash/Go/Java) – Should have experience in at least 1 programming language
- Configuration management ; Virtualisation (VMWare)
- CI/CD Jenkins/ Concourse/ gitlab-ci/ github actions) – should have at least 1
