About The Role
We are seeking motivated Junior and DevOps Engineers to join Gemba Advantage’s dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical public sector projects, contributing to the development and automation of secure cloud-native platforms. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with developers, security specialists, and clients to facilitate smooth deployment processes, manage infrastructure, and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. The role is ideal for individuals eager to expand their technical expertise, gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices, and make a tangible impact on national infrastructure. Candidates should be proactive, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of security and operational excellence.

Qualifications
- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is desirable.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
- Previous experience or internships in DevOps, systems administration, or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Applicants must hold an active or recently active SC or DV security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, management, and monitoring of cloud-native infrastructure to support critical public sector applications.
- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability of systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and secure software delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance.
- Participate in security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
- Maintain compliance with security policies and standards specific to government and public sector requirements.
- Willingness to work on-site up to four days per week to facilitate collaboration and project delivery.
