Great ideas come from different minds. That’s why we bring together engineers, scientists, analysts, and creatives from every background — and give them the trust, tools, and freedom to make a difference. What connects us is the mission: solving meaningful problems and building capability that protects what matters most.

And as the challenges evolve, so do we — working on the technologies that will shape tomorrow, not just today.

DevOps & Infrastructure Lead - National Security Business

Join our growing team and help strengthen the UK’s safety and resilience.

We’re a leading technology and engineering company supporting customers across National Security, Defence and Intelligence, delivering systems that operate in the most demanding and sensitive environments.

As a DevOps & Infrastructure Lead, you’ll deliver and maintain high-throughput, high-capacity data platforms for National Security customers, spanning both on-premise environments and cloud-based solutions.

You’ll lead hands-on DevOps and infrastructure engineering across CI/CD, observability, infrastructure-as-code and platform automation, helping teams build secure, reliable and scalable services in demanding environments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll lead a team developing, operating and continuously improving secure on-premise and cloud data platform capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering and customer technical leaders to shape platform, infrastructure and delivery roadmaps.
  • Lead the design, development and operation of high-throughput, high-capacity on-premise data platforms and associated cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows and automated deployment approaches using tools such as ArgoCD.
  • Implement and improve observability using Prometheus, Grafana, logging and alerting to support resilient platform operations.
  • Use infrastructure-as-code and platform automation with Helm, Go and Terraform to deliver repeatable, assured environments.
  • Mentor engineers, review technical approaches and help teams adopt modern DevOps and platform engineering practices.
  • Lead and contribute to agile ceremonies, keeping delivery aligned to user needs, operational constraints and security expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
