We're expanding our engineering capability and looking for a Platform Engineer to join our growing Delivery Centre team. You'll work alongside architects, consultants, and engineering specialists to deliver modern cloud solutions that make a real impact for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Platform Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and supporting cloud infrastructure and delivery platforms within long-term client partnerships.

You'll be:

  • Automating operational processes and infrastructure deployment
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Working with AWS cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders
  • Supporting the operation and continuous improvement of production environments
  • Contributing to engineering best practices and mentoring junior team members

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or similar
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Scripting and automation experience (Python, Java, Bash, or similar)
  • Strong development background
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Associate-level AWS certification
  • Active SC Clearance is essential

Nice to Have

  • Ansible or other configuration management tools
  • Azure or GCP experience
  • Docker and Kubernetes exposure
  • Experience supporting production systems
  • AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar

📍 Newcastle (Hybrid Working)

We welcome applicants from across the North East, with an expectation of approximately 60% office-based working.

Security Requirements

Due to client requirements, successful candidates must:

  • Hold active SC Clearance
  • Have resided in the UK continuously for the last five years
  • Not have spent more than six consecutive months outside the UK during that period
