We’re recruiting for an exciting Insurtech start-up business looking for a hands-on DevOps / Platform Security Engineer to take a key role in the development, operation and security of its cloud-based technology platform. This is a broad role combining DevOps Engineering with cloud/platform security, making it an excellent opportunity for an Engineer who enjoys building robust cloud infrastructure while also taking real ownership of security, governance, resilience and emerging AI technologies. Working closely with the wider technology team, you’ll help ensure the platform is secure, scalable, observable and well governed, including the rapidly evolving challenges associated with Agentic AI and AI-enabled applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building, maintaining and improving Azure cloud infrastructure, environments and deployment pipelines
  • Designing and managing appropriate sandbox, development, test and production separation
  • Developing automation, tooling and platform capabilities using Python
  • Taking ownership of platform and cloud security, identifying vulnerabilities and strengthening security controls
  • Implementing and managing static, dynamic and AI-assisted security analysis
  • Developing effective observability, monitoring, logging, alerting and auditability
  • Supporting platform performance, reliability, scalability and Azure cloud cost control
  • Managing AI model routing, access, usage and governance
  • Supporting the integration and operation of AI-enabled applications and services
  • Ensuring appropriate controls around the use of Agentic AI, AI models and AI-enabled services
  • Supporting security, risk and compliance requirements as the business and platform scale
  • Working collaboratively with Developers, Data/AI specialists and other technical stakeholders to embed security throughout the development lifecycle
  • Helping establish secure engineering practices for AI workloads, APIs, automation and cloud-native services

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
