Role Overview
Join a Build & Deployment team responsible for the full coding/build/deployment lifecycle. The role is focused on hands-on technology, build engineering, secure coding, and binary/artefact management. Strong emphasis on JFrog, build and deployment tooling, secure software practices, and supporting development teams. The focus is much more technical and engineering-led, working closely with developers and existing technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the build, deployment, and coding functions across the technology estate.
- Work extensively with JFrog Artifactory, with a particular focus on binary and artefact management.
- Support the creation, management, storage, and deployment of software binaries/build artefacts.
- Maintain and enhance secure coding practices across build and deployment processes.
- Work with development teams to ensure code and build processes follow established security and engineering standards.
- Support and maintain ServiceNow-related coding and integrations, extending and implementing functionality where required.
- Help drive forward improvements to existing ServiceNow implementations while ensuring secure development practices are followed.
- Work with legacy implementations as well as newer tools and technologies, helping to improve and modernise existing processes.
- Support and maintain CI/CD and build pipelines across a range of technologies.
- Work with GitHub, TeamCity, Jenkins, and other build/deployment technologies.
- Support deployment processes using Octopus Deploy.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and artefact-related issues and work closely with developers to resolve problems.

Core Technical Experience

- Strong experience with JFrog Artifactory, particularly binary/artefact management.
- Build and deployment engineering experience.
- Experience working with secure coding practices within development/build environments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and software deployment processes.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Experience with Jenkins and/or TeamCity — TeamCity experience is useful but not essential.
- Experience working closely with software developers and development teams.
- Strong understanding of software build processes and managing compiled/built artefacts
Please note there will be a requirement to be in the London Office (near Moorgate station), 4 days a week.
