DevSecOps Engineer | Microsoft Technologies | Contract outside IR35
Hybrid: 3-day onsite (Bank Station) OR Liverpool office
Rate: £450 / day (Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Initial 6 months with a potential extension

Are you passionate about building secure, automated cloud platforms? We're looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join an innovative finance sector client on a contract basis to be responsible for delivering secure, scalable Azure-based solutions. You'll play a key role in embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle while driving automation, resilience, and operational excellence across the Microsoft technology stack.

What you'll be doing:
- Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using modern tooling
- Support and optimise Azure cloud environments
- Automate deployments and operational processes
- Monitor application performance, availability and security
- Identify, manage and remediate vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure and Security teams to deliver secure, high-quality software
What we're looking for:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates)
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash
- Experience supporting.NET/C# applications
- Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management and DevSecOps best practices
- Experience with application monitoring and automation tools
