DevSecOps Engineer
Taskr are partnered with an enterprise client who are looking to appoint an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing technology function. We’re looking for a hands-on cloud and security-focused engineer who can help strengthen secure development practices, automate infrastructure and support the operation of cloud environments.
This is a fully remote UK-based opportunity, with a salary of up to £65,000 per annum + package.
What you’ll be working with:
The role will involve a broad range of cloud, DevOps and security technologies, including:
- Microsoft Azure and cloud-based platform services
- CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps
- Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation, with Terraform
- Cloud monitoring, security and operational tooling
- Containerised workloads, including Kubernetes (AKS)
- Azure services such as App Services, API Management, Azure SQL, etc.
- Identity and access technologies
- Cloud networking and secure connectivity
- Application and container security
- Security automation across the development lifecycle, including code, dependency, secrets, infrastructure and container scanning
- Automated security controls and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines
- Vulnerability management, from identification and prioritisation through to remediation
- Web and edge security technologies, including WAF, DNS and traffic protection

Experience with platforms such as Cloudflare or equivalent solutions would be beneficial.

The ideal background:
You’ll have strong practical experience across Azure, DevOps and cloud security, with a track record of building secure and automated environments.
You’ll be comfortable working across engineering, infrastructure and security teams, and have a good understanding of how to integrate security into development and deployment processes rather than treating it as a separate stage.
Experience with security monitoring platforms, cloud security posture management and application performance/operational monitoring would also be highly valuable.
Job Details:
- Salary: up to £65,000 per annum + package
