DevSecOps Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer (Site Reliability / Cloud Infrastructure / Build & Release / Environments & Automation)
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in Northampton Office)
Should have strong experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) supporting enterprise, production-grade distributed systems.
- Advanced hands-on expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipeline design/automation, Docker/Helm/Kubernetes container orchestration, and runtime troubleshooting for Java/Spring Boot applications.
- Kafka (event streaming), Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry (observability & tracing), Docker Compose, and CI/CD security controls (SAST, container scanning, dependency management).
- Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC), HashiCorp Vault (secrets management), AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot), and API gateways/service mesh (Envoy, OPA).
- Prior expertise in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI) or highly regulated enterprise environments, focusing on entitlement/authorization systems, continuous delivery, security compliance, and SRE resilience principles (SLIs/SLOs, HA/DR).
