Job Opportunity: Diabetes Account Specialist (Remote)

Are you passionate about improving patient care and driving positive health outcomes? We are seeking a Diabetes Account Specialist to join our team in promoting a leading portfolio of diabetes products within the NHS Integrated Care Systems and Health Boards. This is an exciting remote role where you will play a crucial part in delivering sales through virtual engagements with healthcare professionals in both primary and specialist care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Account Management: Drive prescribing of diabetes products, develop brand advocates, and manage key accounts across your territory. You'll share valuable insights with cross-functional teams to help shape strategic account plans.
  • Omnichannel Engagement: Utilize a mix of digital and visual tools to optimize customer interactions, tailoring content to meet the specific needs of healthcare professionals.
  • Clinical Expertise: Become a trusted expert on our diabetes portfolio, building clinical confidence with healthcare providers and advocating for the best patient outcomes.
  • NHS & Market Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of the NHS and diabetes therapy area to strengthen customer relationships and impact patient care.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with marketing, medical, and clinical teams to maximize sales and improve business performance in your region.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • ABPI qualification is essential.
  • A degree in a science or business-related subject, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven success in a sales role, particularly within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Strong experience in virtual selling and using CRM systems and digital channels.
  • A solid understanding of the NHS landscape and healthcare pathways.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
