The Diabetic Eye Screening Programme
The Diabetic Eye Screening Programme works across the County of Somerset to deliver high quality Eye Screening for all people aged over 12 diagnosed with diabetes. We are looking for someone who has an eye for details and is caring and compassionate to all our service users.
Role Responsibilities
As a member of the Team you will be required to work closely with other team members across different locations to ensure the smooth running of our busy clinics. A large part of the job role is greet our service users, explain the screening process to them and obtain an accurate measure of eyesight before instilling dilating eye drops. There is a degree of computer work within role which must be carried out accurately. There will be full training given and you will be required as part of this job role to pass some vocational learning.

Although this position is to mainly cover clinics in Frome, Shepton Mallet and Wincanton there may also be a necessity to cover other clinic locations and therefore it is necessary for a full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Expenses are payable when travelling beyond your home to base mileage.
