We're looking for a customer-focused Diagnostics Account Manager to join our Diagnostics team, supporting the installation, adoption, and ongoing success of our VetScan Point of Care Diagnostic portfolio while also supporting our external laboratory business, VPG, now part of Zoetis.
This is an exciting field-based opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering technical training, solving problems, and making a real difference to veterinary practices across their territory.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Diagnostics Account Manager, you'll become a trusted partner to veterinary practices, ensuring they gain maximum value from their diagnostic equipment and services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a best-in-class onboarding experience for new Zoetis Diagnostics customers.
- Supporting veterinary practices with the successful installation, implementation, adoption, and utilisation of the Zoetis VetScan Point of Care diagnostic portfolio.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with veterinary clinics across your territory.
- Providing both on-site and remote product training, education, and application support.
- Troubleshooting technical and operational issues in collaboration with our home-based Technical Support teams.
- Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Technical Services and Customer Support to maximise the value of the complete Zoetis portfolio.
- Applying a consultative, solution-selling approach to understand customer needs and help improve clinical workflows and patient care.

What We’re Looking For
We're seeking someone who is passionate about customer success and enjoys combining technical knowledge with relationship management.
You'll ideally have:
- A minimum of three years' experience within a veterinary or medical clinical environment.
- Previous sales or account management experience (desirable but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of veterinary or medical clinic workflows and diagnostic applications.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information confidently.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using technology. Experience with veterinary Practice Management Systems would be advantageous.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to support customers.
- Excellent organisation, planning and prioritisation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team.
- A willingness to continuously learn and develop professionally.
- Basic understanding of animal disease states.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this position, you must:
- Live within the designated territory (B, CV, LE, NG, PE or NR postcode).
- Be willing to travel extensively throughout your territory.
- Hold existing unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Have a full UK driving licence.
