Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, highly motivated, and experienced radiographers to join our friendly and dynamic cross-sectional team in the beautiful county of Shropshire.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and proactive radiographers who are looking to expand their knowledge and develop new skills in CT and MRI. The successful applicants must have a BSc (Hon) Diagnostic Radiography or DCR, and current HCPC registration. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience/skills in either CT or MRI. Full training will be given in both modalities.

Your base hospital will be the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Work pattern will be 12-hour shifts over a seven-day week, giving an excellent work/life balance. The department has 3 MRI scanners (a mixture of Siemens Aera and Sola scanners) and 3 CT scanners (a mixture of Siemens Definition and Edge scanners). We carry out a wide range of scanning including CT/MRI cardiac, enterography, CT colonography, CT intervention, and MR breast. You would be expected to rotate through all scanners in the department and our modern, purpose-built imaging hub incorporating new CT and MRI scanners. The department is fully committed to role extension and has practicing Radiographers undertaking Ultrasound, Barium Swallows, CT Colonoscopies, and plain film reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
