Job Opportunity: Radiographers at King's College Hospital

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic radiographers with a keen desire to learn and develop their skills in our busy and exciting department.

There are two roles available:

Rotational Radiographer

This is a rotational Radiographer post providing cover for clinical shifts on a 24/7 basis including weekends and bank holidays. Radiographer training is provided across multiple imaging modalities including X-ray, Theatres, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy, and Dental imaging.

Dental and Main Radiology Radiographer

This is a limited Dental and Main Radiology rotational role providing cover for clinical shifts from Monday to Friday, with no weekend or night shift requirement; shift hours vary between 08:00 and 20:00. To better aid transition between the departments, there is a 50/50 split working across the departments.

They will work autonomously, prioritising workload according to clinical need and service requirements. They will be accountable for their own professional practice, working within their scope of competence and seeking advice from senior colleagues when appropriate. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, they will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care while considering the needs of referring clinical teams.

They will maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality, information governance requirements, and relevant legislation at all times. The post holder will be proficient in the use of the Trust's IT systems, ensuring accurate management of patient information throughout each care episode.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
