Diagnostic/ DM01 Performance Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diagnostic/ DM01 Performance Lead to support our team across ESNEFT.

In conjunction with the Head of Elective Performance, you will provide operational management support the services within the designated departments/ services of responsibility, within the Division. This will be undertaken jointly with the respective Clinical Service Directors and the Head of Operations for the Division.

You will manage all aspects of operational delivery within the relevant clinical specialties of East Suffolk & North East Essex Foundation Trust to agreed quality standards and within the resource and income base available, to support the Trust’s development as a clinically led organisation.

Please note, experience in working with EPIC, validation in EPIC, operational RTT and DM01 is essential for this post.

  • Lead the day-to-day oversight and management of Trust-wide diagnostic pathway performance, providing a clear and accurate understanding of performance against the national DM01 diagnostic standard, standards around planned diagnostics and agreed local trajectories.
  • Lead performance oversight for the 15 key diagnostic tests and procedures included within the monthly DM01 return, ensuring performance is understood by modality, service and site and that areas of deterioration are identified promptly.
  • Lead the preparation, interpretation and presentation of diagnostic performance information for relevant Trust performance and governance forums, clearly setting out waiting list size, the number and proportion waiting six weeks or more, waiting time distribution, long waits, activity, trends, forecasts, risks and required actions.
