Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Diamond Driller and Concrete Cutter role based from Nottingham. The position involves carrying out diamond drilling and concrete cutting operations on construction and infrastructure sites, following project specifications and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating drilling and cutting equipment, preparing work areas, and assisting with related demolition or civils activities as required. The role also includes inspecting equipment, reporting defects, and maintaining tools to ensure safe and efficient operation. The successful candidate will work as part of a site team, communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues, and follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide clear communication and cooperative support to colleagues and site teams, demonstrating strong customer service skills when interacting with clients and other stakeholders.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skills development, including health and safety certifications and equipment operation training.
- Relevant on-site construction experience, ideally within drilling, cutting, demolition, or civil engineering environments.
- Good physical fitness, awareness of safety practices, and ability to work in varying outdoor and site conditions.
- Valid UK driving license and reliable transport to reach different sites when required.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to follow technical instructions and method statements.
- Previous experience in highways, rail, or water sector projects is an advantage but not essential.
