Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Diamond Drillers & diamond sawing operatives located in England, United Kingdom. The role involves operating diamond drilling and sawing equipment to cut or core concrete, masonry, and other materials according to project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and maintaining machinery, following technical drawings and instructions, and working closely with site supervisors to plan and complete work safely and on time. The position also requires adhering to health and safety regulations, performing basic equipment checks, and completing job documentation and reports. Team members may assist with demolition activities and support colleagues on various construction and refurbishment sites across the UK.

  • Candidates should possess practical skills relevant to precision work.
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication and a professional approach when interacting with clients, site managers, and team members.
  • Candidates should possess Training-related skills, including willingness to learn, follow safety training, and support knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Relevant experience in construction, concrete cutting, and drilling.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work in varying site conditions, including standing, lifting equipment, and working in confined or outdoor spaces.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety standards, including PPE use and safe operation of power tools and machinery.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to different sites across the UK; industry certifications for drilling, sawing, or demolition are an advantage.
