Based at Ash Field School, this role supports children and young people with complex healthcare and additional learning needs. Working within the Diana Children’s Community Service, you will provide health and educational support, helping pupils access learning safely and achieve their individual goals.

Key Duties Include

• Delivering care in line with care plans and EHCPs.
• Supporting health, wellbeing and educational outcomes.
• Working closely with families, school staff and healthcare professionals.
• Providing health advice, maintaining records and reporting concerns.
• Contributing to safeguarding, medication management and service quality.
• Supporting colleagues and participating in training and supervision.

Person Specification

• Level 3 qualification in Child Development, Education or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities or additional needs.
• Knowledge of child development and equality principles.
• Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage sensitive situations and build positive relationships with children and families.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to learning new skills.
