Dietary Aide / Dietary / Full Time / Variable Shifts
Provides personal care and professional excellence by performing a variety of kitchen duties as assigned in a quality manner.
- Assembles prepared foods accurately for regular or modified diet trays, safely delivers trays to serving areas or to patients, and returns trays to clean-up areas.
- May prepare and serve between meal nourishments for patients.
- May work alone or as part of a team effectively on a moving assembly line in the main kitchen.
- May accurately and safely tend and load machines that clean food-service items or may hand wash items that are not machine washable.
- Delivers clean dishes and utensils to proper kitchen units.
- Thoroughly cleans work areas, tables, and cabinets. Observes infection control practices at all times. Thoroughly washes and cleans fruits and vegetables and peels, dices, shreds, or slices them using kitchen hand utensils.
