Job Opportunity: Tayside Weight Management Service

We are seeking an individual to join Tayside Weight Management Service. The post holder will support our integrated weight management team with a focus on adult services across our dietetic and physiotherapy interventions.
This is a dynamic, proactive multi-disciplinary team supported by dietitians, clinical psychology, physiotherapy, support workers, and administrative staff. This is an exciting time to be joining us as we are currently reviewing and developing our pathways of care for service users.
We Are Seeking An Individual With
- Good communication and organizational skills
- An interest in nutrition and weight management
- An ability to help and relate to people
- Ability to work as a team member
- Previous experience of working in a health or relevant environment
Most of dietetic and physiotherapy interventions delivered by the postholder will be in group settings, either digitally or in person groups. A proportion of the duties will include responsibility for some administrative tasks.

The Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service promotes collaborative working across all our teams. This enables and encourages the development and implementation of pathways, standards, and innovative practice. It also allows for extensive peer support and opportunities for professional development.
The posts will be based in Dundee and have a Tayside remit. The post holder will be required to work at least two early evenings every week.
Hours and Working Conditions
- Hours of work are 36 hours; job share and part-time working will be considered.
- You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
