You’ll have access to an array of internal and external training, including our leadership courses. Use your acquired skills to direct one of our multi-sited dietetic working groups in the progress of clinical policies; a preceptorship pathway; pre-registration placements, research projects; electronic outcomes; or health and wellbeing initiatives.

To join our friendly and supportive Gastroenterology Dietetic Team at Wythenshawe Hospital, part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
This Is an Excellent Opportunity
- To develop your specialist clinical and leadership skills within a well-established gastroenterology service.
- Working alongside an experienced team of specialist dietitians, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to colleagues, while benefiting from regular mentorship and professional development from the Clinical Lead Dietitian.
Your Role Will Include
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutritional care across inpatient and outpatient services.
- Managing a varied caseload of gastroenterology medical and surgical inpatients, providing expert nutritional assessment and management, including oral, enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
- Covering specialist outpatient clinics, supporting patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and functional bowel disorders.
- Working closely with consultants, specialist nurses, pharmacists, speech and language therapists and other allied health professionals to deliver patient-centred care and optimise clinical outcomes.
