Opportunity with Eating Disorders Service
This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning Eating Disorders Service and become part of a strong clinical dietetic team. You will work closely with our apprentice dietitian and dietetic assistant, while receiving excellent support from our Senior Dietetic Team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied, specialist caseload across both community and inpatient mental health settings and will be supported to develop competencies in enteral feeding and Eating Disorder clinical specialities.
This role is suitable for:
- A Band 5 Dietitian looking to develop specialist skills
- A newly qualified dietitian seeking support from a highly skilled and experienced team
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied, specialist caseload across community and inpatient mental health settings
- Develop competencies in enteral feeding and Eating Disorder clinical specialities
- Undertake comprehensive nutritional assessments to develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Work autonomously to review and monitor risk and progress
- Contribute to audit and quality improvement initiatives, as well as research projects
- Support the delivery of family-based interventions for children and young people
- Provide nutritional support for patients requiring enteral feeding and participate in meal support and meal modelling within the inpatient setting
