Vector Media

Vector Media is an independent London media agency, founded in 2025 and based in the heart of Soho. We were built deliberately differently, free from legacy infrastructure and process, to pioneer a service-based partnership model that guarantees delivery for our clients.

Our founding directors bring more than 50 years of combined media experience and have worked together as a team for over a decade. That practitioner-first foundation means clients deal with senior media specialists on every brief, and our team gets to learn directly from people who have built and led media functions at some of the UK's most respected agencies.

We work with ambitious brands across competitive sectors, on campaigns that span TV, video, OOH, audio, print and digital. We're small, senior, and rapidly growing, and we're hiring people who want to do their best work in an environment built to support it.

The Role

The Digital Account Director owns digital planning and investment across Vector's accounts, leading digital briefs with inventive, evidence-led plans directing our activation partner and staying close enough to the platforms to go in when needed. As the agency's senior digital specialist, they will build and lead the digital team as the function grows.

Partnering with the Media Director on integrated briefs, this is a planning-led generalist role: technical enough to brief, challenge and check the build and commercially sharp enough to defend the work.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Planning and Strategy

  • Lead digital strategy and brief responses end to end, translating client business goals into cohesive cross-channel plans across channel mix, audience, measurement and budget.
  • Interrogate client briefs and translate objectives into digital plans that ladder up to brand, performance or full-funnel goals.
  • Build the digital section of integrated plans with the Media Director so online and offline work together.
  • Own the test-and-learn agenda on each account, making sure the right testing priorities land on client schedules and learnings shape future plans.
  • Be the agency's voice on emerging platforms, formats, ad-tech, AI tools and the privacy landscape, and turn them into practical recommendations for clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Activation and Investment

  • Brief and manage our activation partner on day-to-day buying, and own platform, media owner and ad-tech relationships, securing tests, beta access and added value.
  • Lead investment decisions on pricing, deal structures, forecasting and added value, and own QA on partner activity, checking builds in-platform.

Measurement, Attribution and Reporting

  • Own the measurement framework: KPIs, tracking, tag governance (GTM, CM360, platform pixels) and conversion modelling.
  • Raise measurement sophistication across the team, embedding incrementality testing, attribution and channel-relevant effectiveness frameworks.
  • Lead post-campaign analysis that carries a clear point of view and recommendation.

Client and Commercial

  • Present plans, performance and recommendations to clients, articulating the role digital plays in their business and flagging issues early.
  • Own digital financials on your accounts: budgets, forecasting and pacing, with bookings, invoicing and timesheets run cleanly.

Leadership, Team and Knowledge Sharing

  • Be the in-house digital expert, directing workflow and delegating so the right work sits with the right person.
  • Set the standard for digital best practice, building the frameworks, playbooks and case studies that define the Vector way.
  • Act as the escalation point for digital strategy and delivery, bringing calm, confident leadership when things get difficult.
  • Upskill the wider team through training, feedback and 1:1s, and contribute to new business pitches.
  • Build, recruit and line-manage the digital team as it grows.

  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk, CM360, GA4, GTM and DV / IAS, with strong Excel and visualisation skills.
  • Deep understanding of modern measurement, including incrementality testing, attribution modelling and MMM inputs, with the ability to turn data into business recommendations.
  • Confident, credible presenter with senior stakeholders; able to influence without jargon and commercially sharp on fees, margin and AVB structures.
  • Experience leading and developing a team; organised, meticulous and positive under pressure.
  • Comfortable being both planner and practitioner: leading strategy, while knowing the platforms well enough to challenge a partner's build or go into a buying platform yourself.

What Success Looks Like

  • Partner activity is accurately built, issues are caught early, and campaigns perform against the KPIs we promised clients.
