Our Digital team works across a diverse portfolio of clients, developing creative, insight-led campaigns that build audiences, strengthen reputations and deliver measurable results across digital channels.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Digital Account Director to join PLMR’s growing Digital team.

This is a senior client-facing role for someone who combines strategic thinking with a strong understanding of digital communications, content and campaigns. You will lead major client accounts, develop integrated digital strategies and ensure our work delivers clear, measurable impact.

You will also play an important role in growing the Digital team, identifying new opportunities, contributing to pitches and proposals, and supporting the development of colleagues across the business.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Significant experience in digital communications, ideally within an agency or consultancy environment.
  • Strong strategic knowledge across digital channels, including social media, content, paid campaigns and integrated digital communications.
  • Confidence advising senior clients and translating organisational objectives into effective digital strategies.
  • A strong understanding of audience insight, campaign planning, measurement and optimisation.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborative and values-driven agency environment.
  • Commercial awareness and a track record of helping to grow and retain client accounts.
  • A willingness to explore new ideas, technologies and approaches and champion innovation within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Account Leadership

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality digital programmes and campaigns across a portfolio of clients.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior clients, providing confident strategic counsel.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ organisations, audiences, objectives and wider operating environments.
  • Translate client objectives into clear digital strategies, campaigns and programmes of work.
  • Ensure accounts are effectively resourced, commercially managed and delivered profitably.
  • Identify and address challenges within client relationships quickly and constructively.
  • Support and advise junior colleagues working across client accounts.

Digital Strategy & Content

  • Lead the development of integrated digital strategies based on audience insight, client objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide strategic direction across social media, content, paid digital activity and digital campaigns.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality digital content, ensuring it is engaging, accurate and appropriate for the intended audience and channel.
  • Review and enhance strategies, plans and content produced by junior team members.
  • Stay informed about emerging digital platforms, technologies, trends and best practice and identify opportunities to apply them to client work.
  • Use data and insight to evaluate performance and continually improve campaign effectiveness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
