Whytematter is exclusively supporting our long-term client, Navigator Blue, in the recruitment of a Digital Account Executive / Senior Account Executive specialising in digital advertising.

Navigator Blue is an integrated advertising, PR and marketing agency based in Belfast. They are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive digital advertising professional to join their talented team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining digital campaign expertise with client management, creative thinking and broader agency delivery.

The Role

Working collaboratively with the wider agency team, you will plan, implement, manage and report on digital advertising campaigns across a varied client portfolio.

Alongside your digital responsibilities, you will contribute to creative ideas, oversee projects from brief to completion and help ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse client briefs and develop effective digital media plans that meet campaign objectives.
  • Conduct keyword research and campaign planning.
  • Set up, manage and optimise paid campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, including Search, Display and Video.
  • Manage campaigns across other relevant platforms, such as LinkedIn, X/Twitter and Spotify.
  • Use Google Analytics and other reporting tools to monitor and evaluate campaign performance.
  • Prepare accurate campaign reports in line with client requirements and agreed timelines.
  • Manage campaign budgets, estimates and schedules.
  • Ensure digital activity is fully integrated with wider media campaigns.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate campaign delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Provide day-to-day advice, guidance and support across assigned client accounts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ industries, objectives and audiences.
  • Stay informed about developments in the digital landscape and share relevant insights with the wider team.
  • Support wider agency projects and attend client or industry events when required.

Experience and Skills

  • At least two years’ experience in digital advertising planning and campaign management.
  • Hands-on experience across key advertising platforms, including Meta and Google Ads.
  • Experience managing paid search, display, video and social advertising campaigns.
  • A proven ability to manage campaigns, budgets and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation and project coordination abilities.
  • Confidence communicating with clients, colleagues and external partners.
  • Agency experience is preferred but not essential.
