Four days per week. Office-based in our London office (3 days a week),
£35,000 to £42,000 pro rata.
About us:
Fabled Labs is a specialist search consultancy for regulated UK firms. Our clients are barristers' chambers, family law firms, private healthcare clinics and wealth managers. We do SEO, AEO (getting our clients cited in AI answers), digital PR and Google Ads. We are small and growing. This is the first permanent hire, so you will work directly alongside the founder and have a real say in how the team is built.
The job in one line:
You own the client relationship day to day, and you make sure every client gets what was promised on the date it was promised.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you own:
- The delivery calendar across all retained accounts. You know what is due, when, and who has it.
- The specialist contractor team. On-page SEO, data and reporting, PPC, PR, development. You get their work in on time.
- Each client's monthly pack, built and queued for founder review before it goes out.
- Client comms. Status calls, agendas, action notes, and the day-to-day questions.
- Early warning. If something has slipped, you flag it before the client notices.
You must have:
- A digital agency background. SEO, paid media or performance. Client-side does not prepare you for this.
- Experience holding five or more accounts at once.
- The ability to read a Google Search Console or Google Ads report and explain it to a client without help.
- Excellent written English. Our clients are barristers and doctors, so sloppy emails cost us.
- Exceptional attention to detail and timelines.
- Willingness to be in the office. This role only works in the room.
