Overview

We’re looking for a Digital Account Manager who is passionate about strong client relationships, has a mind for strategy and is excited about growing client accounts.

You would be managing a set of global corporate clients. Our portfolio includes names such as Coca-Cola HBC, Indivior, Burberry and Capita.

We’re looking for a Digital Account Manager with experience managing website builds within the corporate communications and B2B space — this role is not suited to candidates focused on digital marketing, performance campaigns, or multi-channel account management only.

From website builds, managing website maintenance, financial and non-financial reporting on their owned channels, advising on digital solutions for their stakeholder engagement needs; this role is for an ambitious individual with a curious and innovative mind.

Account/client management

  • Oversee the client relationship across all activities
  • Ensure client satisfaction by exceeding your clients’ expectations and being a strategic partner
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of your clients’ digital strategy and communications needs
  • Understand the clients’ communications and stakeholder engagement challenges
  • Oversee project management of website builds as well as day-to-day requests
  • Brief internal teams, clearly defining requirements, deliverables and timelines.
  • Manage client budgets and profitability including all financial admin such as creating budget proposals, completing regular reconciliations, raising and issuing purchase orders for external costs and completing accurate timesheets; ensuring scope is agreed and clear and all work is executed within this scope (requirements, timelines and budgets)
  • Successfully liaise and co-ordinate suppliers and partners

Growth: Strategic Digital Account Development

  • Identify and develop opportunities for revenue growth and cross sales
  • Continually develop your knowledge of your client’s businesses and the industries they operate, identifying opportunities and ideas
  • Lead the client service and client reviews (i.e. benchmarks; quarterly reviews etc), and identify any cross sales and upsales opportunities
  • Develop proposals for new work (for clients & prospects)
  • Promote our solutions & services

Team management:

  • Successfully allocate and manage the projects within your team, ensuring the work is aligned to the available skills within the team
  • Ensuring that the status report and project deadlines are always up to date and accurate, documented processes and procedures are followed and templates are used
  • Make sure the wider team has a good understanding of the required deliverables for the next 2 weeks

Qualifications, experience and skills:

  • 4+ years agency or client-side experience
  • Experience interacting with clients at a variety of levels and across functions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential
  • Managing large build digital projects from inception to delivery with the ability to work unaided;
  • Good knowledge of project management techniques for digital solutions including requirements definition, sitemaps, schematics and wireframes, web analytics, etc.;
  • Experience of scoping digital projects of significant scale and complexity and identifying project risks;
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure, within strict time constraints
  • Ability to manage many urgent and often conflicting priorities

Technical knowledge and skills required

  • Content management systems; (i.e. AEM)
  • Issue and bug tracking (i.e. JIRA)
  • QA techniques and processes
  • Knowledge of W3C WCAG levels and requirements.

Personal Qualities

  • Passionate about digital
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Technically literate
  • Able to communicate complex digital solutions into layman’s language
  • Strong ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to take initiative

Reporting relationships:

Reporting to the Digital Client Director

Working closely with the wider project and account management team as well as the creative and application development teams

Interview process

  • Phone chat with talent acquisition manager
  • 1st Interview (via teams) with hiring manager
  • 2nd interview with Chief Digital Officer
  • In person interview (Fulham Palace): presentation of a task and interview with the wider team
