Digital Account Manager
£40,000 to £50,000
Location: Reading - day to day will be remote, however the team gets together once a month for working days in either London or Reading. You will also need to attend ad hoc client meetings and events within the Berkshire area as and when required.
We're working with a specialist agency who need a Digital Account Manager to take ownership of key client relationships, lead the hands on delivery of digital campaigns and projects, and play an important role in the strategic and commercial development of their accounts.
This is a growing agency with a close-knit team, so it's very much a hands-on role. You won't simply oversee delivery from a distance, you'll lead client meetings, develop briefs, build project plans, manage budgets and timelines, coordinate internal teams and partners, review work and make sure campaigns get delivered brilliantly.
At the same time, you'll be looking beyond individual projects, developing a deeper understanding of your clients' businesses, priorities and challenges and using that knowledge to shape what happens next.
You'll also help set the standard for excellent account management across the team, supporting the development of Account Managers and Account Executives around you.

- Become someone clients proactively involve because they value your perspective as well as your ability to get things done

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
