Digital Account Manager (Independent, full service agency)

Salary: £35-42k per annum (DoE)
Location: Manchester
Working pattern: Hybrid – 3 set days in the office, 2 days working from home
Employment type: Permanent

The Opportunity

I’m currently recruiting for a Digital Account Manager to join a growing independent agency based in Manchester.

This role would suit an experienced digital marketer who is confident managing paid media campaigns, owning client relationships and contributing to new-business pitches.

You’ll take responsibility for the full campaign lifecycle, from strategy and activation through to optimisation, reporting and recommendations, while acting as a key digital contact for a portfolio of clients.

A key part of this hire is finding someone who is confident presenting digital strategy and contributing to new-business pitches and tender presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and optimising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Developing data-led digital strategies based on client objectives
  • Managing budgets, pacing and campaign performance
  • Leading client reporting and performance meetings
  • Identifying opportunities to improve results and grow accounts
  • Supporting new-business pitches, proposals and tender presentations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
