Through strategy, branding, websites, SEO, PPC, paid social advertising, creative campaigns, CRM automation, and AI solutions, we help businesses scale by delivering measurable results, generating leads, and increasing sales.
As a Wolverhampton-based agency, we are looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to join our growing team and become the key link between our clients and our internal marketing specialists.
This is a client-focused role for someone who understands digital marketing, enjoys building relationships and has the ability to ensure marketing campaigns are delivering real commercial results.
The Role
As a Digital Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of marketing retainer clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service, clear communication and measurable growth from their monthly investment.
You will become the main point of contact for clients, understanding their business goals, managing campaigns, coordinating internal teams and ensuring all marketing activity is strategically aligned.
This role is office-based at our Wolverhampton ‘den’, with regular client visits for strategy meetings, campaign reviews and relationship-building sessions.
You will work closely with our dedicated delivery team, including specialists across paid advertising, SEO, PPC, CRM automation, creative, design and content, ensuring all client marketing activity is planned, delivered and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Relationships
- Manage a portfolio of marketing retainer clients.
- Become the trusted marketing partner for each client.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships through regular communication and support.
- Organise and attend client meetings, strategy sessions and performance reviews.
- Understand each client’s business objectives and translate them into marketing actions.
- Ensure clients feel informed, valued and confident in their marketing investment.
Campaign Management & Strategy
- Coordinate monthly marketing activities across multiple channels.
- Manage campaign planning, timelines and launches.
- Ensure new campaigns are prepared, approved and delivered effectively.
- Work with internal teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with client goals.
- Review existing marketing activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively suggest new campaigns, ideas and growth opportunities.

Digital Marketing Performance
- Monitor client marketing performance across: Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), Google PPC, SEO, CRM campaigns and automation, Lead generation activity.
- Analyse results and identify areas for optimisation.
- Ensure marketing activity is generating measurable improvements.
- Work with specialists to improve campaign performance.
Reporting & Retention
- Produce monthly client performance reports.
- Clearly communicate campaign results, insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrate the value and return on investment of monthly retainers.
- Identify opportunities to grow client accounts.
- Support client retention by delivering exceptional service and measurable results.
Internal Team Coordination
- Act as the link between clients and the internal delivery team.
- Manage priorities, deadlines and campaign requirements.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Keep internal teams updated with client feedback, objectives and upcoming campaigns.
Essential Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within a digital marketing agency.
- Experience managing client accounts or marketing retainers.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels.
- Experience creating and managing paid advertising campaigns.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager and media buying.
- Awareness and understanding of SEO principles.
- Awareness and understanding of Google PPC campaigns.
- Experience working with CRM systems and marketing automation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Ability to analyse marketing data and confidently explain results.
- Commercial awareness with a focus on business growth.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with TikTok Ads
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4).
- Knowledge of AI marketing tools and automation.
- Experience with lead generation funnels.
- Understanding of customer journeys and conversion optimisation.
- Experience managing website projects.
- Experience using project management platforms.
Requirements
- Previous agency experience is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident in presenting marketing results to business owners.
- Professional, organised and proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred due to regular client meetings.
