Digital Account Manager – Paid Search & Paid Social
Watford | Hybrid
We’re looking for a Digital Account Manager with strong experience across Paid Search and Paid Social to join a growing digital agency in Watford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the combination of client management, digital strategy and hands-on campaign performance. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, becoming their trusted digital partner while ensuring campaigns are delivering against their commercial objectives.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of client accounts and building strong, long-term relationships
- Planning and delivering integrated Paid Search and Paid Social strategies
- Managing campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta and LinkedIn
- Taking ownership of campaign budgets, performance and optimisation
- Translating client objectives into clear digital strategies and media plans
- Monitoring performance against KPIs including CPA, ROAS, CPL, conversions and revenue
- Identifying opportunities to improve performance and grow client accounts
- Producing reports and presenting results and recommendations to clients
- Running regular client calls, meetings and performance reviews
- Coordinating campaign activity with internal creative, content and wider digital teams
- Supporting campaign testing across audiences, creative, messaging and landing pages
- Keeping clients informed on platform developments and new opportunities

About you
You’ll ideally have:
- 3+ years' digital marketing / paid media experience
- Previous agency experience
- Strong knowledge of Paid Search and Paid Social
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Experience with Microsoft Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager would be beneficial
- Strong understanding of GA4, conversion tracking and campaign reporting
- Experience managing multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
- Confidence presenting campaign results and recommendations to clients
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
- A commercial mindset with an understanding of how digital activity contributes to wider business objectives
