Digital Account Manager - PAID MEDIA - Digital Marketing agency

£35,000.00 per year

Hybrid working - 3 days office 2 days WFH

Manchester

Our client is a results-driven, client-first agency founded in 2019. Operating from their Manchester offices, their team of 23 has delivered over 3.6 billion impressions across 15 countries, growing entirely through word-of-mouth referrals. They specialise in innovative, data-led strategies across digital, e-commerce, OOH, and social media, with a relentless focus on delivering measurable impact for their clients. Their commitment to excellence extends beyond marketing, as we drive social and environmental change through partnerships, charity initiatives, and sustainable practices.

The Opportunity:

They are now looking for a Digital Account Manager to join their growing team. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, managing their digital strategy and paid media activity across multiple platforms. Combining hands-on campaign management with strong client relationships, you'll use data, technology, and insight to drive measurable results and identify opportunities for continued growth.

Your Role:

  • Manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms including LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and Microsoft Ads.
  • Act as the day-to-day digital contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and developing a clear understanding of their commercial objectives.
  • Translate client briefs and business objectives into effective, data-led digital strategies.
  • Manage campaign budgets, pacing, performance, and optimisation to maximise results.
  • Analyse performance data and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Lead regular client reporting and performance meetings, confidently communicating results and next steps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, test new approaches, and grow client accounts.
  • Collaborate with the wider team across digital, content, social, and media to develop integrated solutions for clients.
  • Support new-business pitches, proposals, and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay ahead of platform developments, emerging technology, and changes within performance marketing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Makes This Role Different:

  • Take ownership of the full campaign lifecycle – from understanding the brief and shaping the strategy through to activation, optimisation, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Work across a varied client portfolio rather than being siloed into one platform or specialism.
  • Have a genuine voice in client strategy, with the freedom to bring new ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Work closely with specialists across digital, content, social, and wider media to deliver truly integrated campaigns.
  • Build expertise across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on Education and lead generation.
  • Develop your career within a growing independent agency, with a clear progression path as the team continues to expand.

What We're Looking For:

Essential

  • 3+ years' experience within paid media/digital marketing, ideally within an agency environment, with D2C fashion brands.
  • Strong hands-on experience across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering B2C and/or B2B lead-generation campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and turn it into recommendations.
  • Experience managing campaign budgets and optimising against KPIs.
  • Excellent client-facing and presentation/pitching skills.
  • Confidence managing multiple clients, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive mindset and genuine interest in digital marketing and emerging technology.
