Responsibilities include:

• Lead digital transformation and service improvement initiatives that enhance the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of services across Digital, Technology and wider business functions within a public sector organisation.
• Drive the analysis and optimisation of existing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement through technology, automation and new ways of working.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver measurable service improvements and business outcomes.
• Provide leadership and direction to Business Analysts and Change Management professionals, enabling the identification and delivery of operational efficiencies through the effective use of digital solutions, whilst ensuring robust benefits realisation and governance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from senior executives and departmental leaders through to end users, external partners, suppliers and third-party organisations, ensuring successful delivery of change programmes and realisation of intended outcomes.
• Champion continuous improvement across the organisation, driving cost efficiencies, improved service performance, enhanced user experiences and more effective communication through a strong understanding of customer and business needs.
• Lead the development of a high-performing team with expertise in business analysis, service improvement and change management, ensuring evolving user needs are understood and reflected in service design, delivery and operational processes.
• Oversee the prioritisation and delivery of business analysis and change initiatives, ensuring recommendations align with strategic objectives, represent best value, and are communicated effectively to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
