Job Description
We're looking for a Digital Adoption Manager to lead the team helping Enfield embrace digital, data and AI-enabled ways of working.
You'll work with senior leaders, frontline services and specialist teams to turn innovation into measurable improvements for residents and staff alike. You'll lead our Business Analysts and Change Managers, helping one of London's largest boroughs adopt new technology, redesign services around user needs and realise the full value of investment in digital, data and AI.
The Opportunity
This is a chance to shape the future of local government.
Working across the organisation, you'll help services improve, modernise and adapt to new opportunities. You'll identify where change can make the greatest difference, support colleagues through transformation and ensure that new capabilities become embedded in everyday practice.
You'll work closely with Directors, Heads of Service and operational teams to improve processes, increase efficiency and help the organisation deliver better outcomes for residents. At the same time, you'll build the capability of a team of Business Analysts and Change Managers who play a critical role in delivering change across the council.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts and Change Managers.
- Partner with services across the council to identify opportunities for improvement and transformation.
- Drive the successful adoption of digital, data and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Lead business change and service improvement initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Ensure benefits are realised from transformation programmes and digital investments.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and suppliers.
- Champion user-centred, evidence-based improvement.
- Support services to redesign processes and deliver sustainable change.
- Provide leadership, challenge and support to teams delivering transformation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
