Description

LOCALiQ, part of Newsquest Media Group, is looking for a Digital Advertising Sales Consultant to join our Glasgow sales team.

Working with businesses across Scotland, you'll identify opportunities, build relationships and help clients grow through a range of digital marketing solutions, including digital advertising, social media, video, website design and lead generation.

This is a hybrid role combining home working, office collaboration and face-to-face client meetings. If you're commercially minded, enjoy winning new business and want to develop a career in digital sales, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across your territory.
  • Meet prospective clients via telephone, video and face-to-face appointments.
  • Build strong relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
  • Understand client objectives and recommend tailored digital marketing solutions.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships.
  • Generate leads through prospecting, referrals and networking.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain an active pipeline.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in a media, marketing, SaaS, or tech environment.
  • Confident in building relationships and winning new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially aware with a consultative approach to sales.
  • Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
  • Comfortable working across telephone, virtual and face-to-face sales channels.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, media or SaaS solutions would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
  • Able to travel within the territory and attend the local office regularly.
