Job Description
Turner & Townsend's Digital Advisory business is growing and building capability to meet our 2030 Strategy. We are seeking an experienced Change & Transformation Consultant with a track record of delivering business transformation, change management and process improvement initiatives within asset-intensive industries, the built environment, energy and natural resources, or defence. Knowledge of data governance, data operating models, data architecture and data platforms is desirable.
Service delivery excellence: Delivering digital transformation, change management, adoption programmes, process improvement and business readiness engagements across a range of client sectors.
Business Generation capability: Contributing to bid writing, proposal development, client presentations and lead generation activities.
People & Operations: Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues and supporting a positive and inclusive team culture.
Service development: Contributing to the development of change and transformation propositions, methodologies, playbooks, tools and best-practice resources.
The team offers a wide range of commissions covering the UK. Candidates would be expected to travel up to 2-3 days per week supporting the delivery of the commissions. As a global business we deliver projects anywhere in the world for our global client base so future flexibility would be advantageous.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will support the delivery of digital transformation and change programmes across a range of sectors. This will include helping organisations adopt new technologies, improve ways of working and successfully embed change. They will also contribute to the development of our Change & Transformation service offering through knowledge sharing, market insight and business development activities.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across client organisations. This includes engaging with stakeholders at all levels, understanding user needs and supporting the successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.
Candidates will be expected to contribute to workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions to understand business challenges, gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement. Experience of business analysis, process mapping or continuous improvement approaches would be advantageous.

Experience supporting digital transformation and business change projects delivered through Agile and/or Waterfall approaches is desirable. Candidates should be able to contribute to activities such as stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, communication planning, training, business readiness and implementation support.
Candidates should be able to understand business, operational and user requirements and help develop practical solutions that support organisational objectives. This includes supporting the design of future ways of working, developing implementation plans and helping teams successfully transition to new processes and technologies.
Experience supporting technology adoption and organisational change initiatives is desirable. Candidates should be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into clear requirements and supporting the implementation and adoption of new digital tools and solutions.
Familiarity with change management principles, organisational change methodologies or digital adoption approaches is desirable. Experience developing stakeholder engagement plans, communications, training materials, user guidance and adoption activities would be advantageous.
Scope
Consultants will work within our Digital Consulting team. They may also operate within wider Turner & Townsend project teams from other business units. In addition, they will interact with clients and other project stakeholders. They will support a wide range of projects of varying sizes and complexity. From time to time, this may include working with consultants from other organisations.
The successful candidate will:
- Support the delivery of digital and data transformation programmes across strategic sectors, such as Energy and Natural Resources, Defence, Infrastructure and Government.
- Provide advice to clients on digital transformation, change management, digital strategy, technology adoption and related transformation priorities.
- Contribute to business growth through lead generation, bid writing and proposal development.
- Share knowledge and provide support to colleagues, contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Turner & Townsend’s digital and data advisory service offerings through proposition development and knowledge management.
Key Accountabilities
Delivering digital transformation and change management as part of a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities including:
Service Delivery
- Support the delivery of change and transformation engagements, helping clients improve processes, ways of working and business outcomes.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, facilitate workshops and support process improvement, digital transformation and change implementation activities.
- Support digital adoption programmes by helping stakeholders understand, embrace and embed new technologies, systems and ways of working.
- Produce high-quality deliverables and build effective stakeholder relationships.

Business Generation
- Support business development activities through opportunity identification, bid writing and proposal development.
- Contribute to client presentations and help build positive client relationships that support future opportunities.
People & Operations
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the Digital Advisory practice and wider business, sharing knowledge and supporting others where appropriate.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Service Development
- Support the development of change and transformation methodologies, playbooks, templates and reusable assets.
- Research industry trends and share insights to help continuously improve our service offering.
Qualifications
This role requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business challenges and support the delivery of practical solutions. A good level of Microsoft Office capability, or a willingness to develop this capability, is also required.
A degree in an analytical subject is advantageous but not required.
Qualifications in Change Management, Business Analysis, Agile or Project Management (e.g. Prosci, APMG Change Management, BCS, IIBA or PRINCE2) are desirable but not essential.
