Digital Analyst

London - hybrid, 3 days per week)

Up to £40,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join a high-performing Digital Commerce Analytics team supporting a large, international ecommerce operation. You'll work across digital customer journeys, performance marketing, and web analytics, helping stakeholders make better decisions through data-driven insights and compelling storytelling.

The Company

They are a well-established consumer-focused business with a strong digital presence across multiple international markets. The organisation is investing heavily in analytics capabilities, self-serve reporting, and modern data infrastructure to better understand customer behaviour and optimise digital performance.

You'll join a collaborative analytics team that partners closely with Digital Commerce, Customer Journey, and Marketing functions. The environment encourages curiosity, innovation, and the use of data to drive commercial outcomes.

The Role

As a Digital Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing digital and ecommerce performance, uncovering insights, and supporting key business decisions across the customer journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse digital commerce and ecommerce data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers
  • Use SQL and web analytics platforms to understand customer behaviour and journey performance
  • Evaluate on-site activity and conversion funnels to improve customer experience
  • Support performance marketing analysis, attribution, and campaign effectiveness reporting
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions for stakeholders across the Digital team
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for business users
  • Partner with customer journey and product teams on testing and experimentation initiatives
  • Perform web analytics QA, including tagging, tracking, and data validation
  • Combine data from multiple sources including customer, marketing, and commercial datasets
  • Support the ongoing development of the reporting environment as analytics capabilities evolve

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or a similar web analytics platform
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or other visualisation tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into meaningful business insights
  • Understanding of customer journeys, digital performance metrics, and ecommerce analytics
  • Experience working with stakeholders and presenting recommendations in a clear, engaging way
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, and web analytics QA is beneficial
  • Retail, ecommerce, or customer-centric analytics experience is highly desirable
