6 Month Contract With A Local Authority

Job Purpose

To support the maintenance, development, configuration, and optimisation of the Council's enterprise systems, with a primary focus on iTrent and Business Objects. Working within a multi-disciplinary Digital team, the postholder will ensure system security, improve business processes, provide technical support, and deliver high-quality reporting and data analysis to support organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance, configuration, development, and optimisation of iTrent and associated enterprise systems.
  • Create, develop, and schedule Business Objects reports of medium to high complexity.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliations using Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Provide high-quality user support through the Halo CRM system, resolving system issues and ensuring service standards are maintained.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, configuration changes, and ongoing system improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external software vendors to improve integration and streamline HR and business processes.
  • Maintain system security, data integrity, and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Support Senior Digital Analysts with system administration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience supporting, configuring, and developing iTrent software.
  • Strong experience creating and maintaining Business Objects reports of medium to high complexity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external software vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timescales.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
